The Palm Beach County Board
of Rabbis, Inc. was organized as an incorporated body in
1997. It serves to advance the religious and communal
welfare in both the Jewish and general communities of Palm
Beach County. The board maintains standards of rabbinical
credentials and ethical practice with the goal of enhancing
the role and position of the Rabbi. The board is composed of
both active and retired Rabbis.
Rabbis who are active are engaged in congregations,
chaplaincies and academia.
Retired Rabbis volunteer their time for teaching, volunteer
chaplaincy and assisting congregations.
Membership Standards- Rabbis eligible for membership must be
a member or former member in good standing in one of these
nationally recognized rabbinic organizations:
A) Central Conference Of American Rabbis- (Reform)
B) Rabbinical Assembly- (Conservative)
C) Rabbinical Council Of America- (Orthodox)
D) Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association
